Thanks for wanting to learn more about me! Where should I begin? In a nutshell, I’m a project manager for a marketing agency by day, and a wife/cook for my husband /mother for my Shiba Inu by night. I’ve been described as someone who is: funny, creative, blunt, positive, open minded, and has a sever sweet tooth.
In 2011, I married my university sweetheart that I’ve dated for 10 years. It was when I started planning our wedding that I began to blog regularly to document our wedding planning process and share my research with other Chinese brides locally. Since then, I’ve been writing about other things that I’m passionate about. This includes a wide variety of things! Here are the top 3:
- Eating & Cooking – I love to eat and cook for the people I care about. It gives me such a satisfying feeling when people say they like my cooking.
- Bandit, my Shiba Inu – The number 1 boy in my life (the number 1 man is of course my husband). I love Bandit to death and often refer to him as my “son” which gets me in trouble with my grandma sometimes. Everytime I say that, she’d lecture me by saying “You should have a real baby boy instead of a dog!”
- Photography – This is something that I’ve always been interested in but never got the time to learn it. Funny thing is my dad is somewhat of a photography expert. A couple years ago I finally got around to buying a DSLR to learn photography and photo processing.
Aside from the above, I also like crafting and doing DIY projects. Oh and I used to spend an excessive amount of time gaming in massive multiplayer and battle arena type of games such as GuildWars, World of Warcraft, and League of Legends. These games allowed me to de-stress and made a lot of great friends online.
Well I think that’s about it. I can’t really think of anything else to write about. Probably because it’s way past my bedtime when I’m writing this. If you’re still curious about who I am, read through my blog, Shorty and Me, and you should get a pretty good idea. Why did I name my blog Shorty and me? Lets just say that someone is a little shorter than I am and we both like to make fun of our heights openly.
