We had such great weather last month so it’d be a waste not to practice my photography outdoors. Asta and Jon were nice enough to let me take some photos of them during sunset at the Burnaby Mountain Park. I had never shot sunset photos before, or lifestyle / engagement photos for that matter, so this was an interesting experiment for me.
The sun took a while to set (almost till 8pm) so we took some random shots at the park. I have no experience with posing people and greenery really isn’t my thing so I found it hard to find spots/poses that would make the photo look good/meaningful. The one photo that I did want to try taking is the sunset silhouette shot. I wasn’t sure how to achieve this so the night before, I read Google some articles and got some basic information. Then the rest was just trial and error. Here’s how the shot turned out:
What do you think? I got some lens flare and couldn’t decide if I should edited it out or not. Would you edited it? Why or why not?
