Bandit is two weeks away from his second shot but we wanted to socialize him early so we decided to enroll him into a puppy pre-school. When we got there the trainer was really nice and so were the other puppies and their parents. Bandit got so many compliments and praises because he’s “soooo cuuuteeee” (I keep telling people, don’t like let that cute puppy face fool you!). He behaved really well in class even though at first he was nervous and tucked himself in the corner. He also got really nervous after some of the bigger puppies tried to play with him and pooped on the floor (they were towering over him due to their size and Bandit didn’t quite know what to do…)
Al and I learned quite a lot this class and we’ll try to practice some of the techniques, such as how to keep him calm and how to make him do puppy push ups. Hopefully by the second and third class he’d learn how to greet other dogs and play with them in a good way.
